I’m Rebecca, but most people just call me ‘Red.’ I am a professional fine art photographer based in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State.

I left Sequim in 2014 for what I thought would be a year of adventure across the pond (Puget Sound).  But here I am, more than a decade later, still happily living and creating in Seattle. I gradually adjusted to city living and feel privileged to have spent a large chunk of my adult life in one of the most vibrant metropolises in the world. Still, I remain a country girl at heart, more comfortable splashing barefoot in creeks than surrounded by concrete.

As a fine art photographer, from still life to landscape, portraits and even macro, this kind of expression is defined by capturing with a ‘good-eye’. My subjects and shots are pursued simply for the artistic purpose of appealing to the viewer.

I don’t solely identify as a photographer. I am also a Mother, Grandmother, lover of the arts, and a relatively good human.
